The St. Christopher’s JV Soccer team is coming off the heels of a very successful season. Last year, the team was able to finish with a 5-6-2 record. But, having completed their entire schedule this season, they hold a strong 12-2 record. This year, the Saints started with a competitive 2-0 win over Christchurch School. They have since dominated opponents such as Benedictine College Prep, Norfolk Academy, Collegiate School, Trinity Episcopal School, Woodberry Forest School and Cape Henry Collegiate.
This STC roster has a solid back line, which includes players like Noah Daigneau ’28, Townsend Sexton ’27 and RJ Johnson ’28. In just their first eight matchups, the team scored on 37 separate occasions while only allowing six goals into the back of their own net. Most of these goals can be credited to Luke Bleecher ’28, Alexander Reed ’27 and Dax Alexander ’28. Bleecher has the most offensive feats on the team, with nine total goals and six assists.
While the Saints are very skilled technically, a lot of their success stems from the effective leadership of captains Collin Weis ’27 and Cash Kisner ’27 and the ability to stay calm in tense moments like the rattling game at Trinity Episcopal School. As the JV Soccer team closed out their season, they stayed consistent and attained a stunning final record.
